Last week, the JDCA introduced our redesigned website to highlight our newest publications and reflect our recent growth. We are building an Alliance to make a difference and with each new member we are getting closer to this goal. We can help focus research toward a Practical Cure so that people now living with the disease can see a result in their lifetime. Let’s unite to make a change.
We have a lot of exciting projects in the works for the remainder of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 (including the unveiling of a video introducing the JDCA and an interview with our founder).
In honor of our new website and progress, we are launching a membership campaign. For the first 500 new members who sign up, we will match their donation of up to $25 to any diabetes charity of their choice with the inclusion of our Donor Action Letter. Our Donor Action Letter specifies that the donation must be used toward research that can result in a Practical Cure.
Signing up is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply visit our new homepage and fill out the “Join the JDCA” contact form on the right hand side. You will receive a follow-up email with our Donor Action Letter. All you have to do is tell us what charity you will be sending your donation to so that we can match it.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, let’s celebrate what we are thankful for and unite in order to accelerate the delivery of a Practical Cure. Never forget that one person can make a difference.
