Join in the cause to help prevent and cure diabetes, a condition that millions of people are afflicted with and cope with every day.  The American Diabetes Association is holding the Pittsburgh Tour de Cure, a cycling event fundraiser, to raise funds to help prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Support their mission.  Support the mission. Take the ride of your life!

Participation in the Tour de Cure, starting at the Seneca Valley High School, will be a ride.  It’s not a race.  Everyone at all experience levels in cycling can participate in Tour de Cure.  There are different routes available to select from, based on your experience, your bicycle, and overall health, and your interest in cycling and see the wonder of our world.  The rides vary from the 8 mile Family Fun Ride to the 100 mile Ultimate Challenge.  Whatever you choose, there will be rest stops, food, and fans all along your journey!

If you have Diabetes, a Red Rider is someone living with diabetes (type 1, type 2 or gestational) who rides in Tour de Cure. Being a Red Rider can help with your first step or your millionth—in your fight to live a healthier life! Register and learn more about the Red Rider program on the Red Rider page on this site or call 1-888-DIABETES.

Every mile you ride and every dollar you raise will help change the future of diabetes!
