MINNEAPOLIS – Join the Team and help OutFOX Diabetes!!
Emily Greene is a force fighting a forceful condition. Diagnosed in her young 20’s with Type-1 diabetes, it hasn’t slowed her spirit and it certainly hasn’t slowed her down.
As patient coordinator at a local children’s hospital, Greene knows the importance of quality health care. As a diabetes patient herself, she knows the need of finding a cure. That’s why Greene is involved in the JDRF Young Leadership Committee, a group of young adults whose mission is to raise awareness and money for diabetes research.
Greene recently spoke with FOX 9 News anchor Tim Blotz about the upcoming JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes.
Event Information:
The walk takes place at the Mall of America on Saturday, Feb. 25.
FOX 9 has formed a virtual walk team with Tim Blotz’s family to raise money for research. To contribute, click here .
