Science has good news for java junkies. Researchers followed about 42,000 German adults for nine years, monitoring coffee consumption and development of several chronic illnesses. The study found that people who drank more than 4 cups of coffee per day were 23 percent less likely than nondrinkers to develop Type 2 diabetes. Researchers found that coffee drinkers and nondrinkers had a similar risk of developing cardiovascular disease, stroke, heart attack, and cancer. So go ahead and enjoy that cuppa joe!
