No, sorry, there is no cure nor are they even looking for one for type 2 diabetes. It can be controlled by diet, exercise and medications but there is no cure even on the horizon.

The best cure is to live in another way than you probably do.
Stay away from all that contains sugar. 10 % in a Coca cola is sugar.
Avoid pasta, rice, white bread and potatoes.
Eat popper food in smaller portions and exercise.
If you loose weight that will do you good.
In matter of fact, Miz Lamb says that there is no cure even on the horizon, but her recommendations are the cure. If you manage it you will probably not have to use any medications in the future
There is no cure for type 2! Responses that claim they are cured are delusional. I challenge anybody who claims they are cured to go to Dun kin Donuts for 2 jelly filled donuts for breakfast, Super sized Whopper meal with a extra large regular Coke for lunch and dinner at Olive Garden and have Capellini Pomodoro, 5 bread sticks, soup and Chocolate Gelato for dessert. If their blood glucose goes over 150 then they are not cured! They may claim well that is not the way they eat, but a non diabetic could eat it and not have high blood glucose level. They may be controlled never cured.
Some doctors have had success with diabetes patients by getting them to exercise and helping them understand how food affects them. These doctors believe diabetes is caused by nutritional deficiencies. Some patients are able to completely come off of their medications as a result.
I have found a website that helps explain the food and other areas to help you make the best choices for a better life.
Good luck to you.
No cure for either types of diabetes yet. Sorry, I wish there was… I want mine to go away… I think most diabetics would prefer not having it…
