Another pretty helpful link that has been added to our re-designed website which we launched a week ago is our Frequently Used Terms page. It focuses on some of the terminology that we use in our report, and explains the terms in detail. For now we have listed our definitions of a Practical Cure, which is what we advocate for, and our definition of an Idealized Cure, which we believe many foundations are focused on and spreads out resources that could be going to more practical means.
As we add more reports to our website, we will also be putting up new terms onto the page. By the end of next week we will hopefully publish our latest report, which will be focused on Human Clinical Trials. It promises to shed some interesting information on the current trials taking place and our analysis on where they stand on the path towards a type 1 diabetes Practical Cure.
Stay tuned for Monday when we will be launching our first ever video, which will introduce JDCA’s outreach team. We will first be putting it up on TuDiabetes and it will hopefully answer some questions people have about us. It is promising to be an exciting upcoming week for everyone involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance and we thank you for being on board!
