Rayna Crawford is a young girl with a great big heart.
The eight-year-old Paris resident has been pounding the pavement throughout town with the hopes of raising enough pledges and donations for a special charity.
Rayna will be participating in the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada. This year’s walk — on Sunday, June 24, at Waterworks Park in Brantford — will be Rayna’s second.
Posters and pledge forms can be found scattered throughout Paris, Brantford and Cambridge, all depicting Rayna’s special story of how she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of four.
“I would appreciate any donations given so that we can find a cure,” Rayna said in her poster.
