CHARLOTTE – Members of Siler Presbyterian Church are participating in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s April 21 Walk to Cure Diabetes at Carowinds, 14523 Carowinds Blvd. The 3-mile walk begins at 7 a.m.
The annual event benefits the national organization through individual and team fundraising. Siler Presbyterian’s team, Logan’s Lifesavers, has raised $380, and hopes to raise $1,800.
The group is made up of Michelle Ingram, team captain, Brett Carruth, Jesse Crunkleton, Destiny Ingram, Kenneth Ingram, Logan Ingram, Louise Ingram and Tayler Ingram.
